NEXT 2008 BIG GAME DATE:
JULY 19th & 20th, 2008
This will be a spin off of the spoof movie Robin Hood: Men in Tights. Expect an archery competition, the need to find a special key, and more hilarious paintball action. Will you play for the virtuous Robin Hood or the cunning Sheriff of Rotingham?
BIG GAME begins Saturday at 10am & ends Sunday at approximately 4pm (We'll play Saturday as late as possible.) |
Badlandz BIG GAMES are legendary around the Midwest. Regularly drawing participants from a multitude of states and hundreds of miles away. Growing in number of players and quality of the games being played.
It just does not get much better than a Badlandz BIG GAME with player attendance routinely superceding 1000, the fun never seems to end. Be ready for 2 days of non-stop paintball slinging insanity. You can also expect; free camping (primitive), Free CO2, and N2 (compressed air), Swap Meets, some night play, and as always discounted paint sales.
Along with the playing comes the cookouts and camping. Each game brings nicer, more elaborate campsites. 40' RV’s are commonplace when the last shot of the day is fired and the campfires rise up that’s when the real party begins. Paintball, cookouts and friends, it’s the ultimate good time. Every year we have at least 3 BIG GAMES.
Raul DeLarossa scripts them and runs them along with Cherish and the Badlandz staff. Generally all you’ve got to do is show up and have a blast but not this time, nope you’ve gotta help.
For the October 4th and 5th BIG GAME you’ve got to help pick a name and theme. We’ve put a section in our forums to gather your thoughts. We’ll monitor the threads and compile the ideas. Once we get enough input we’ll sort through it and put it to a vote. The winning concept will get its creator a 2 day pass and free case of paint. So get to work, let’s see what ya got!
BIG GAME INCLUDES:
Bring your own paint, free camping, free C02, crazy deals on paintballs, play into the night, swap meets and other events to coincide with Big Game Events.
BIG GAME GAME TYPES:
Capture the Flag, Multiple Objectives, and Multiple Forts.

Swap Meet
We're gonna hold a swap meet again at the Big Game. This has been an underutilized way for our customers to buy, sell and trade their equipment. The people that have signed up, have all had more than good results. Teams, clubs, individuals we'll provide tables and chairs, tents if needed. Your welcome to work with other swap meet participants when it comes to playing and taking turns watching each other's tables. Have stuff you've won, looking to move out some old equipment to get new, or shopping to get yourself hooked up cheap.
Check out the swap meets you'll be glad you did.

2 Mobs will compete to have their candidate "win" the "election". They'll be doing things like finding and stuffing ballot boxes, sabotage the other mobs speeches, and engaging in the time honored tradition of whacking the guys on the other side. Will you vote/shoot for the good ole boy network of the Reds or the "we want to control everything you do" Blues?
