F.A.Q. & DIRECTIONS/MAP
SOME GRINDHOUSE F.A.Q.'S:

Q) Is this the best indoor in the world? Or even in the Midwest?
A) No! We're not trying to build the best. We're trying to build a very cost conscious training facility to keep all our Badlandz customers happy. CLP is bigger, Stinger is even bigger than that. You want to play at either? No problem with us. You want to play a bunch of games and save a bunch of money while you improve your skills for the upcoming season? See ya this weekend.

Q) Are you a full size X-Ball Field?
A) No, there is no full size X-ball or 7-Man indoor anywhere in Chicago that we are aware of. We are a small...ish training facility.

Q) Will that hurt me come tournament time?
A) If you only play small fields all winter, yes, it will hurt you. We recommend practicing your gun fighting and movement skills with us, then travel up to Stinger for some full size practice before you head out to the 1st PSP on the west coast. Not going to the PSP? What are you worried about, Badlandz will be back for your full size practices in Spring.

Q) What is the advantage of playing indoors with you as opposed to other local fields?
A) We're cheap! You'll get more playing time for less money. Is that good enough?

Q) Why not reball?
A) It's not possible to know who you shot and who you didn't unless they tell you. So, rather than get into the "it's way too easy to cheat there" conversations, why don't you list all the completely honest players you know and see if you can build a 5-man team to play against and maybe we'll change our opinion!

A#2) Unless the reballs are cleaned on an extremely regular basis, the dirt they pick up is very hard on your gun and loader. Very hard.
A#3) Reballs don't break on impact so they cannot dissipate their energy the way a paintball can. After a day of getting shot in your brand new goggles, check the lense corners for tiny cracks. Nice huh!
A#4) Is your goal to get on a competitive traveling reball team? Practice what you want to be good at.

Q) What type of playing surface do you guys have?
A) We're playing on a compaction surface similar to what they use on horse racing tracks. We've dumped 6" of it down in a frame work arena. You'll be playing on the same surface they use at S.C. Village in Southern California. If it's good enough for Dynasty and The Ironmen, it's good enough for you, Right?

Q) What is the R.O.F. and F.P.S. limits?
A) We'd like to keep it down a little - Max R.O.F. = 12 bps - Max F.P.S. = 260

Q) How do I get to The Grindhouse?
