Team practice at the Badlandz has always been something special. From back in the day with 5 and 10 man in the woods, onto hyperball, 10 man airball right through 7-man airball and x-ball. We’ve got it all.
Our commitment to teams is unmatched by any other Midwest field. We do all we can to foster the growth of teams, individuals and overall tournament play in the Chicago, Midwest and national levels. We at the Badlandz strongly believe that if you want to be the best, you’ve got to beat the best. The best teams play at the Badlandz, that’s why we attract more and more teams each year. When you play the snake at the “Landz” your playing the very 1st snake ever built for paintball. We built the world’s first
permanent hyperball field (we built the 2nd too) We are the first with netted fields, first with 4500 fills, first with airball, first with x-ball, first with bring your own paint.
With the evolution of the game happening at break neck speed, Badlandz has also lead the way with rules enforcement capping the rate of fire before any other field would take the stand. INFO ABOUT TEAMS & PRACTICE:
Team Obligation: Because you are a Badlandz team it does not allow you to treat visiting teams or players in any disrespectful fashion. We are interested in growing our family not pushing people away.
You must adhere to all fields rules, you have received a discounted entrance fee and discounted practice paint. You may be on a team that gets to offset your expenses by reffing and helping out. Your team may get deeply discounted tournament paint. We are happy to work with and help all teams. Just don't confuse this with the fact that you can get away with breaking the rules. Along with what you get should come a heightened sense of obligation to the Home Field.
Tournament teams and players are expected to referee themselves, it's part of the deal when you receive your discounted entry.
Do not abuse the fact your asked to do this, if we repeatedly have trouble with any one team or player we will ask you to leave and not come back.
A few simple rules to keep in mind for all registered team players: - All teams have a maximum amount of players they may roster to receive discounts.
- Should you exceed roster limit, you may start another team. This “B” Team will also receive
discounts, just not as steep as the “A” team.
- All unregistered teams and/or individuals pay a $25.00 entry fee.
- There is a minimum amount of team members required to check in or you’re not really a team that day. If you do not meet the pre-determined minimum you will be charged $20.00 per person.
- Teams must primarily ref themselves, while we provide a ref he is there to keep things safe and under control, not to call you out.

TEAM TRYOUTS
Now you you can book Team Tryouts in advance!
1) Private Airball Field. Saturday or Sunday.
2) Your team gets their normal discount.
3) Anybody that comes for the tryout gets a $5.00 entry discount (normally $25.00, now $20.00).
4) Tell us what paint you want and about how much you'll need and we'll stock it & give you discount for your team and all attendee's!
5) We'll advertise for your team tryout on the website and link to your website!
6) You must book this in advance.

1) What do we get for pre-registration?
A) You lock your team into a season of paint discounts.
B) Your team will have field use priority.
C) You will have streamlined check-in.
D) Discounted entry fee.
E) We can hook you up for team tryouts.
2) Im a tournament player, but I'm not on a team that travels to The Badlandz, Whats up?
A) If your some Mr. Big Shot guy like Danny Tilljack or Brian "L.B." Fow we would love to have you just call it in and we'll make arrangements.
B) If your not traveling the world for free playing big time paintball, we would still love to have you! (Just don't forget us when you are!) Call or email and tell us your story and we'll hook you up if at all possible.
3) Why do teams get a discount ?
A) The game is expensive to play on a weekly basis and we know it, the only way for you to get better as a team is to play the best competition as often as possible. We're just trying to facilitate that process. You'll pay us back as you gain notoriety, bringing attention back to Badlandz. Who knows maybe you'll be the team to bring us back our 22nd World Championship.
4) What do you expect from us ?
A) Follow the rules and be safe.
B) Promote the field that promotes you.
C) Gain exposure for your team and you'll gain exposure for us.
D) Each rostered player is expected to keep a Badlandz logo prominently displayed on their jersey or loader.
5) How is my teams rate determined ?
A) By your loyalty to the field and how much exposure you generate for The Badlandz.
B) If you act like a bunch of babies.
C) B can cancel out A.
6) Can we promote other fields or shops?
A) Yes, to an extent! You're more than welcome to place their logos on your jersey, loaders, anywhere or anything you own can sport 'em, just don't put them on anything we own, get it?
B) Want to wrap your car to look like their store? Good for you just don't park it on the road to gain some cheap exposure, let ' em get their own customers. Park yourself in the lot 'cause we're gonna move you if you don't.
C) Do not pass out ANY TYPE of promo material. You can ask but the answer will be no!
D) Please understand, we built this company and we've got to protect it. The fact that others feel they can gain exposure for their own competing brands at our facility, while complimenting is extremely annoying!
